We just posted out a newspaper to our clients and friends.
The newspaper, called ASAP, included some news about the team, some recent projects and some client news.
Why not just send an email?
We send those too, in fact only recently, but design is what we do and you can only do so much with an email. Something printed is a lot more tangible, physical, and engaging.
Why a newspaper?
Alan’s main qualification was in Newspaper Design, so it harks back to that… but also we enjoy designing East Durham Business and Prudhoe Business magazine, and we liked having our recent press release in the local papers.
Plus, we kept seeing sponsored ads for a company called Newspaper Club and – to coin a phrase as old as newspapers – we liked the cut of their jib.
ASAP?
We asked ChatGPT to give the newspaper a name and it suggested ASap Artistry Gazette… which is awful… but the ASAP bit we could get behind. After all, it is the answer we get almost every time we ask a client “when do you need it?”.
